Brief

To launch a brand new fast food concept based around flatbreads and pizzas cooked before your very eyes in a real stone oven. It brings to the
UK the 'fast casual dining' sector so successful
in the US.

Solution

We worked with Nuvo's founder, Barry Hampson, to create a new fast food tone of voice: we would avoid the smugness of Pret and the faux folksiness of Starbucks. The brand ID and ironic one-liners capture the quirky individuality of Nuvo, the brand 'made by humans'.

Result

Nuvo is now up to three outlets and growing fast. In winning Independent Sandwich Maker of the Year, the judges noted that the shop experience - of which the brand is an integral part -
was crucial to Nuvo's success.
