How we get there
Agencies love coming up with
proprietorial processes, and most of them sound like Matt Damon movies
or Blairite manifestos:
The T Syndrome, The Next Way, The Orinoco Flow,
etcetera!
The truth is, most agencies follow the same process:
Interrogation > Strategy > Creative > Execution.
And yes, at Percival, our process flow is just like this, but there's a couple of things we'd like to think we add:
Find the Gap:
No, not a store locator for a San Francisco clothes retailer, nor a Tube warning.
Rather,
it's just that over the years we've developed a creatively-driven
strategic process that will often find a Gap in the market that a
relentlessly research/planning methodology may miss altogether. We'd
love to show you how
we do it.
Creative Intervention:
Once we've found the Gap and the strategy to get there, we have an interactive meeting where you get to see a plethora of raw concepts about how your brand could act in that space. You see all the stuff that agencies usually filter out before the big 'presentation'.
It feels amazingly rewarding and energising, and is a huge step in building client/agency trust.
And the great thing is everyone - on both sides of the table - feels they completely own the Big Idea we agree on.
